Kane has worked as a legal secretary, paralegal, litigation support professional, law clerk and attorney. Kane also founded a legal nurse consulting firm with two experienced nurses and worked briefly in the field of legal nurse consulting. She has worked in many practice settings including large and small law firms, corporate legal departments, insurance companies and the judiciary. Working in these diverse legal positions and work environments has given Kane a unique, insider’s perspective on many careers in the law. She has published hundreds of career-related articles in print and web-based media and served as editor-in-chief of Paralegal Today, an international magazine covering the paralegal profession, and as editor for Litigation Support Today, an international magazine serving the litigation support profession. She currently is the legal content director for Paperstreet, web marketing for legal professionals and serves as writer, editor, and consultant for LawBox Communications. Publications
